What is EuroFly?
EuroFly is a German- and English-language virtual airline for flight simulation. As part of NordFly Group Airlines, we simulate European scheduled and leisure flying with our own OperationCenter, Stratos ACARS and a modern fleet.
Is membership free?
Yes. EuroFly is a non-commercial hobby project and does not charge a membership fee.
Which flight simulators are supported?
EuroFly supports Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 12.
Which operating systems are supported?
EuroFly is designed for desktop flight simulation on Windows, macOS and Linux. Exact availability depends on the simulator and aircraft add-on.
Does EuroFly work on Xbox?
No. Xbox versions are not supported.
Which aircraft add-ons are supported?
Depending on the aircraft type, supported add-ons include Fenix, FlyByWire, iniBuilds, PMDG, iFLy, FlightSim Studio, ToLiss, FlightFactor and Zibo. The fleet page shows the exact combination for every aircraft and location.
Do I have to fly on VATSIM or IVAO?
No. EuroFly allows offline flights as well as flights on VATSIM and IVAO.
Do I have to use the EuroFly livery?
The appropriate EuroFly livery is intended for the official appearance on VATSIM and IVAO. Available packages are provided centrally.
What is Stratos ACARS?
Stratos accompanies the flight, transfers operational data to the OperationCenter and supports a transparent PIREP evaluation.
What is a PIREP?
A PIREP is the flight report submitted after a recorded flight and evaluated in the OperationCenter.
How do I choose a route?
Choose a currently available connection in the OperationCenter. You are not tied to one fixed location or prescribed career sequence.
Do I need a specific rank for an aircraft?
No. Fleet choice is not rank-based, but you should be able to operate your chosen aircraft confidently.
How many flights do I need to complete?
At least five accepted flights per quarter keep membership active. The third quarter is the official summer break.
What is quarterly protection?
Once per year, you can use a quarterly protection period when you cannot meet the normal activity requirement.
How does registration work?
Join Discord, create your registration code, complete the form, confirm your email address and wait for the team to review the application.
How quickly must I complete my first flight?
After activation, complete a successful and accepted first flight within seven days. Contact the team in good time if there is a problem.
What is the minimum age?
You must be at least 14 years old to register.
Why is Discord required?
Discord is used for the registration code, roles, important announcements, support and community activities.
Can I be active in another virtual airline?
An additional active membership is generally not intended. Before registering, you can discuss whether an exception is possible on Discord.
Can I later fly for other NordFly Group airlines?
After ten accepted flights, an additional group airline can be unlocked without creating a new pilot account.
Which languages does EuroFly use?
The website and central information are available in German and English.
